In 2019 we continued our relief efforts on the refugee camps in Greece, in Camp Moria, Lesvos. As the world went into lockdown in 2020, we continued safe distance packing in parks

In 2017, we continued to support people in Iraq, Syria, Greece and Romania by sending finances, physical aid items, and volunteers on projects. 2018 we took a massive step forward in establishing a logistics hub in the UK and increasing our capacity to send aid overseas by acquiring our first storage container.

GAiN was launched in 2015 and started sending teams to Haiti and Romania and collected aid for Iraq. In 2016, we continued to engage the people of the UK by partnering with Agapé Students and Newday Festival to collect aid for Iraq.

As a Turkish student in Cardiff, I’ve always sought ways to contribute to the community and make a positive impact. My recent volunteering experience with Global Aid Network (GAiN) UK offered me just that opportunity, and it was nothing short of inspiring.
