We are currently looking for staff to join us full or part-time to work with our team based in Birmingham and working remotely throughout the UK. Perhaps you have a passion to use your gifts to serve in this way or you know someone who does?
As the humanitarian partner of Agapé UK, staff working in the GAiN team are part of the staff in Agapé UK. Like many other Christian charities, Agapé UK staff members raise funds to cover their own salary and expenses. With plenty of training and help, staff members develop a team of people who regularly pray for them, encourage them, and give financially towards their work. While this can seem daunting, for over 50 years God has provided for hundreds of UK staff in this way.

Logistics Coordinator (based in the West Midlands):
The collection of relief donations is a key strategy for GAiN in seeking to bring a very practical demonstration of help to people facing crisis and poverty. This role is suitable for someone who loves to be hands on, is highly organised and able to relate well to people whether it’s a business who wants to make a donation or with volunteers who are giving their time to help sort and pack the items ready to send.
Communications Officer (Remote working option available):
Involving people is the heartbeat of GAiN and expressing our key messages to volunteers, donors, businesses and churches is essential to inviting people to be part of the network. This role enables us to spread the word and engage with more people to use their time and resources together so that we can do more.
Operations Manager (based in the West Midlands):
To serve as the operational anchor of GAiN UK, managing and overseeing projects, programmes and partnerships. This person will bring their skills and experience to give leadership to the growth and structure of GAiN UK over the next 5 years.
Volunteer Engagement Officer (based in the West Midlands):
This person will contribute to building and growing the network of volunteers involved in GAiN UK. We need someone who will invest in the journey of each volunteer as they get involved in hands-on help. This role is for someone who has a passion for people and our mission.
GAiN Internship (based in Birmingham or Belfast):
If you are soon to graduate or are a recent graduate, you could join our internship programme, being trained and equipped in the field of overseas projects. An internship would allow you to be part of the GAiN team as well as receiving training and experience in sharing and growing in your Christian faith and have the opportunity to go on an international placement. Internships start in September or January and are full-time roles for 11 months. Application Deadline: 3rd March.
